this product is not all wood, the backing is very flimsy. not easy to assembleFull disclosure: despite what it may say above this review, I do not own an island purchased from Amazon; my horror story of what Amazon's customer service put me through is explained in a separate "vendor feedback" review and I ultimately purchased this, for less money and zero hassle, through Wayfair. This review is only about the product itself.Really nice design, except bottoms of drawers could be sturdier. I do wish the side attachments were designed to be put on or left off at your discretion (cannot be left off without leaving large holes in the side). I bought some white screw-in hooks and converted the left attachment to a mug rack, four mugs above and four hanging beneath. This is not a center island, doors are only on the front - I mention this because I wanted something to go against a wall and it was actually difficult for me to figure out from the descriptions which islands did, and did not, have doors on both sides. Both wheels and feet are included. The feet, by the way, do not actually touch the floor but terminate in a small rubbery circle, so I am not sure which would be better at distributing the weight (with the granite top this is very heavy) if you have a floor that can be easily damaged - probably a felt pad would be a good idea in either case.VERY well packed (including the top coming in a massive wood frame for protection) - and that excellent packaging is, in a way, the reason for my unimpressive review. You see, there were lots of nicks and dings, and one panel completely crushed. Now, that panel is on the left, inside, and cannot be seen without getting down on your knees and had no functional impact - which is very suspicious. I work in quality assurance and I know that companies will have criteria about what can and cannot pass, and it is common that even a major defect, if not visible and non-functional, will be allowed through. And some of the dings were on the edges of doors, and on top of the shelf that the aforementioned mugs are sitting (which could not be flipped over to hide the ding as there are big holes in the bottom of that shelf to hold the towel accessory). That last one is missing paint so it occurred after the shelf was already painted. Most, if not all, of these dings and the big crack could not have occurred during shipment because the whole thing is extremely well packed and protected - a forklift tine driven trough the box might shatter a panel but not cause paint gouge off a shelf.Yes, I know that this is an assemble-by-numbers and not an heirloom piece of furniture. But it is also not $59.95 from Ikea, eitherIt came packaged very well. Took under 2 hours for 2 people to assemble. One piece of the drawer came broken. The seller was super responsive and a replacement piece was sent right away.Stunning look, however the furniture door edge wan without stain, so we had to use a furniture touch up kit to complete the stained look. This was very easy to assemble, all parts were clearly marked and nothing missing. Very sturdy and I'm very pleased with the quality for the money. It's a great product. Not a 5 star because it's not real wood, but it's not advertised as all real wood.I was very impressed on how well the product was packaged and the timely manner in which it arrived. I was wondering how the granite top would be packaged. Mine was between pieces of thick foam and the foam was secured in a wooden crate. If you are good putting things together, and are willing to actually follow the instructions given then it should only take you a couple of hours from the time you start opening to the time you get it actually built. My wife and I have loved the island. It's a beautiful piece. The cabinets will hold quite a lot and the added counter space is perfect for good prep.If you're in the market for an island...you should always try to mark in your kitchen the boundaries of where your maximum space you could use for an island. We used different colors painters tape and put it down in the dimensions of the top couple of islands that we thought we might like. After a few days of walking around our kitchen it was clear to us that this island was the right choice for us due to the dimensions.Relatively good but towel bar has a screw hole in it, but no place to attach it to the holder. Also our stainless steel top has ripples and not attached. These seem pretty sturdy, and look nice. They are as described, though the drawers won't hold much. The height is slightly less than 36" with the legs, but may be correct if you put on the coasters instead.I assembled two of these myself. Assembly was a challenge and I suggest using some blue painters tape to stabilize the back panels when attaching the back panel to the sides.J’adore, je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat, facile à assembler, meuble de bonne taille et très beau dans ma cuisine. Totalement satisfaite.Facile à monter et bel apparence.
