I hate to even have to write this as I think the desk itself it absolutely lovely. However, I am a returning college student in my 50s and find this desk very inconvenient. The desk is made in such a way that you cannot adjust your height to a comfortable level to sit for an extended period of time. This is very inconvenient for people of average height; I am 5' 4" and the desk does not work. There is no way to use an office chair to adjust your height because the fixed shelf under the keyboard sits directly on your lap and the monitor sits up too high. I'm constantly having to look up and it's causing issues with my neck. I'm very disappointed and will have to look elsewhere for a desk that will accommodate the issue allow seating adjustment for extended periods of time. While the desk is beautiful and fits my space well, I regret purchasing this product.
