These armrest protectors are excellent. I was worried because the arms of my couch are not quite as wide as the ones photographed (or described) but the fit was perfect. They have a lot of "give and pull" and fit snuggly. The cross hatched material is thin so they will not protect from spills but they're perfect for keeping hand oils off your upholstery. They are mostly Polyester with a bit of Spandex. Also, they're machine washable but I think I'd hang dry instead of using the machine - sometimes polyester can get messed up if your dryer is too hot.All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase.I bought these after learning the hard way from my previous sofa that, over time, oil from people's hands will soil the armrests. This was a great color for my lightish brown sofa and clings fairly well to my microfiber couch which has arms about the size of the picture. I am happy with them even though I have to readjust them often and the front seams are not a perfect fit. I have had the same issues with armrest covers that were custom made. If I want, I can take these off in a second when visitors are coming. Haven't washed them yet, but feel they will do fine washed on the hand-wash cycle. Stretchy armrest covers are hard to find, and these serve their purpose - I am so glad to have found them on Amazon so I don't have to worry about my sofa arms!The tan color and fabric pattern were just as pictured and looked perfect on my chair. The fabric is thin but O.K. for the price. Only negative...there is no elastic on these to keep them in place. If you are buying these for a chair that gets a lot of use, definitely purchase a package of upholstery pins to keep these armrests in place so you don't have to readjust them every time you get up.I bought to protect the areas my cat, Monet, was using as a scratching post. I just got the armrest covers today and hope they will be effective. I put them on the armrests and placed a piece of bubble wrap underneath the front section. Hope it will prevent further damage. He doesn't seem to like the other sections of my couch for scratching so I'm hoping this will at least discourage him from using the fronts of the armrests.The covers were just what I was looking for, but they could be improved by developing some way to hold down the bottom of the cover against the chair. Each time you put your arm down it moves the cover and it ends up in the floor or all crumpled up.Pixel Stretch Fabric Furniture Armrest Cover set was a great buy. Washes well and fits great. The color does not match exactly but it is very close so I am happy with them. They have a little stretch both ways and stay in place. I ordered one set to try and then purchased a second set for my love seat. Good value.I wasn't sure when I took these out of the package because they looked like they would be loose on the arms of my loveseat, but they are actually perfect. The fabric lies perfectly across the arms. They are just long enough that they don't bunch up and I don't have to constantly straighten them. I bought these because my cat likes to "scratch" the fabric on the arms of my loveseat. He's declawed, but he has still somehow made slight tears in the fabric. These covers are exactly what I needed! And they are washable which is great.Pix attached of these on the arms of my Ikea Ektorp sofa. That's their basic sofa, and also comes in love seat and arm chair size. These arm covers are perfect in size for it, and also have just enough stretch to really cling. Not a lot of stretch but it's interesting when you position them that they cling where they're put almost like they have glue on the backside-- very satisfied! (And the color "tan" is a perfect match for the beige cover that is std for the Ektorp)Fits and stretches well on rounded arms. Long enough to stretch almost the full length of the arms. Advertised as fitting "all" shapes of arms, but I have a love seat with flat-top squared arms and the rounded stitching on these covers do not look good at all.They are way to big, do not stay in place and I could not exchange themOverpriced for sure...
