I like that it lays flat against the wall and floor. It's sturdy but the rungs are very narrow. If you have a small narrow spot like I did it works fine. The color is like a dirty off white. It has the yellowed look. I wouldn't gift it unless absolutely sure the color would work for them.The price is absolutely insane I bought it on a sale day. It’s a great height! Very sturdy! I use it as a blanket rack… but wow is it NARROWThe ladder is a bit narrower than I expected. BUT the distressing is way over the top. I will have to paint it because there is a brickish color swiped on every rail of this wooden ladder, to appear rusty or rustic? Looks more like dried blood, eww. But once painted, it will be great for display and storing of my many hand knits.This ladder is a cute decoration. It is worth about $40. There is a huge disparity between the quality and the price.It was brought from plants and looks awesome .This is nice for a vintage/cottage look, and it came as depicted in description. It’s narrow so check your measurements before buying. There are no nails or screws shown & rungs are round so it looks vintage. Pleased w purchase.I was totally pleased when I opened the box! Great sturdy ladder that is currently holding baskets, tins, ivy and antique bird houses! Definately recommend.This is a very beautiful distressed ladder. I hung it from the ceiling and used S hooks to hang lanterns. Very sturdy
