We got this bed for our 2 1/2 year old who does not fit well in a toddler bed anymore. He loved the bed of course a strains are his favorite toys. The bed is well constructed, colors are bright, very nice bed indeed. We like the fact is low and firm. It's all metal and does not need foundation or spring box. The assembly was complex and it took my husband and I about four hours to put it together. The instructions are not the easiest to understand but you can follow them. The reason why we don't give it five starts is because a couple of the screws did not fit and we have to leave one without the screw and the other one we put it in angle and screw it as much as we could. It also shed a lot of metal small dirt that needed to be vacuum after completing the assembly process. The other thing I don't like is the fact that has no protection on the sides in the cabin on the top of the bed. It has padding on the headboard but not in the sides of the train cabin, and it's metal so it should. I have put some pillows in the mean time and I will be adding some padding to avoid my son to hurt his head.
