Installed round platform is 16, max loading capacity is 300Lbs. The casters are sturdy, made of plastic yet did no damage to floors. 2" swivel casters make for easy rolling in any direction. This dolly is flawless. It's easy to assemble, everything interlocks well, it gives you a flat, smooth, waterproof surface, and it's sturdy, sturdy, sturdy! I need this square model to support a compact, portable washing machine, which it does quite well even though it's just slightly smaller than the machine's base. If they made a 19"x19" square version, I'd buy it in a heartbeat for my washing machine, and keep this one for moving things around in my place. It's just awesome, and well worth the price for the quality of it compared to the adjustable dollies being marketed for portable washing machines.
